The formula is specifically engineered for these crops. Leafy greens wilt due to rapid water loss and turn brown due to exposed cell enzymes at cut stem tips. The formulation hardens the cell walls to keep them rigid, it completely halt the browning on the leaves and cut ends.
2. Fresh-Cut/Sliced Fruits (e.g., Sliced Apples, Sliced Potatoes):
Result: Highly Effective.
If you slice an apple or potato open, exposing the flesh to air, this formulation works brilliantly to stop it from turning brown.
A dip in our formulation typically extends the freshness of cut vegetables and fruits for up to 8 to 12 hours for immediate raw consumption. When combined with strict refrigeration (0-4°C), this treatment can preserve color and quality for 5 to 15 days, depending on the vegetable and fruit.
