Story With Moral: Don’t Judge a Teen By His Posters
Amelia’s face turned red as she entered her young son’s room. There it was, plastered in one of the walls of his son’s bedroom, a poster of her son’s favorite actress. Her blood nearly boiled when she saw that the actress was posing provocatively, with hardly any clothing.“Barney, get yourself in here,” she shouted as she looked at her son who was watching television in the living room, “what’s this in your room again? Another pornographic poster of Georgia Wilde?”
“It’s not a pornographic poster, mom, It’s an artistic poster. Can’t you see she’s not naked?”
“Get over here, young man and prove to me that your new poster is not pornographic. I can almost see her private parts. She’s leaving nothing to the imagination.”
“That’s precisely the point of the poster, mom, nobody buys her posters if she has a lot of clothes on. Men like her for her face and body, nothing else.”
“You remove this poster this instant, young man. Otherwise, you’ll be in big trouble.”
“Dad has seen the poster and says that it actually looks great.”
“That’s because the two of you are pigs,” she said in exasperation, “I’ll have a word with your father regarding your poster when he comes home.”
When her husband went home, they had an argument as to whether the poster can stay in their son’s room. But her husband reminded her that she was the one who actually told her son that he can decorate his room in whatever manner he wants. This basically shut her up.
But one day, as she was watching YouTube videos, she got a video recommendation about a Georgia Wilde video. It was a celebrity news report which details the current life of some famous sexy actresses.
The video showed Georgia Wilde who was now very fat and carrying her baby as she went shopping in a supermarket. This made Amelia smile. She had the idea that her son, after seeing the video would lose interest in Georgia and remove all her posters from his room.
“Is this the woman you’re lusting after, son?”, she gloated, “We’ll I’m fat, but she’s even more fatter than me.”
Her son just smiled and went back to his room. Days passed and when she again entered his son’s room, she noticed that there was another poster of Georgia, which to her opinion and dismay, she found to be pornographic.
After her son returned from school, she confronted him, even tried to make him embarrassed of himself:
“You’re still lusting after a very fat woman who already has a baby, son? I thought you have better taste in women?”
“Mom, if you think that I’ll stop liking Georgia just because she’s fat now, you’re mistaken,” explained her son as he broke his silence over the matter, “I’m not after Georgia Wilde, I only like her posters when she was still single and sexy. You got it all wrong ma.”
“You mean you just like the posters of Georgia and not Georgia herself?”
“Yes, what makes you think I’m like other people who fall in love with movie stars?”
She felt a slight sense of guilt when she had a feeling that her son was actually referring to her when he mentioned people who fall in love with movie stars, but she was determined not to lose to her son in their discussion.
“How would you like it if I started dressing and posing like Georgia for all men to ogle?”
“I think sexy posing is just a job for Georgia, mom,” explained Barney grinning, “she saw an opportunity to make a lot of money while she was still young and beautiful and nothing more. As you can see, she’s now very rich after just a few years. Have you become rich at a very young age, mom?”
“If you think that men are taking advantage of her,” continued her son, “I think you should think again. Her sexiness before is her power to make a lot of money from the men who are obsessed of her. Have you ever made money out of stupid men, mom?”
Amelia wasn’t sure what just happened, but she realized that her son just beat her at her own game. But she was happy, because she knows that her son has the right mindset regarding women.
